Our Mission
An Open Door to Life exists to heal women by helping them achieve optimal mental health through sound Christian counseling. We provide a safe, caring, and compassionate environment for women who have endured pain, loss, abuse, neglect, and trauma but desire to experience healing and abundant life through Jesus Christ. We care for women’s physical needs through our network of like-minded community resource partners and aim to help every woman understand her worth and value as she walks in the fullness of God’s perfect plan.

Dr. Rebecca Kimball
Rebecca is our Client Services Director. She has a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and a Master's of Arts degree in Pastoral Psychology. Rebecca is an Ordained Minister of Counseling through Maranatha Bible Fellowship. She has ministered to women and families affected by childhood abuse and trauma for more than 20 years. Rebecca served as a missionary to the Philippines for 16 years and with the Child Protection Team in Florida for 8 years. These years of service have given her a desire to positively impact families by strengthening and encouraging women through biblical counseling.

Missy is our Executive Director. She has a Master's in Divinity with a focus in Biblical Studies and an Advanced PhD in Pastoral Psychology. She also is a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor and a certified Temperament Counselor through the N.C.C.A. She is an Ordained Minister of Counseling through Maranatha Bible Fellowship. Missy has served as a counselor for several years at A Women's Pregnancy Center serving both women in crisis as well as those in need of lifestyle counseling. Missy's goal is to make Christ-centered counseling available to all women and help them walk in the fullness of Jesus Christ.
